In 2004, my husband and 50 West Cycling owner David Ariosa and I founded the Sunflower event in order to combat the disease my Dad (Don Krumme) had just been diagnosed with. Dad has lost his battle in 2006 and I am committed to continue to try to change the lives of people who have Parkinson's disease. Dad was a lover of life and a beacon of joy and positivity who found humor in everything. He was a great athlete and we rode thousands of miles together on our bikes. Please join our 50 West Cycling Company team and help out folks like Dad! Rev it Up has something for everyone: 25k, 40k and 80k bike rides, 5k walk/run, 3k walk and a great party afterward with a food court (including SKYLINE CHILI!), 50 West craft BEER (of course) and live entertainment. Dad would have loved it! Please join or donate today! Proceeds go to research and education at the Gardner Center for Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders at the University of Cincinnati Gardner Neuroscience Institute.
